Amanda
Currently the proud new owner of Studio One Hair Design as of January 2016, Amanda continues to provide clients with a great experience with each visit to the salon. She is very involved in the day-to-day operations, while maintaining a vast client base. Amanda comes from a long line of hairdressers, so naturally, hairdressing is in her blood. Born and raised in Kingston, NY, she grew up in an artistic atmosphere, and desires the creativity that doing hair gives her. Amanda joined the Studio One team in summer 2005, and specializes in bridal hair DreamCatcher Hair Extensions and other formal styling. This is the area in which she gets most creative, however, Amanda also does hair cutting, color, nails, and waxing. Her haircutting specialty is the Graduated Bob, and Amanda is certified in the Keratin Complex. She continues to improve her skills and techniques by attending continuing education classes.

Laura
With over 24 years experience in the industry, Laura is a top-notch hairdresser. She loves to get creative and transform her client’s looks with color, and loves the ever-changing nature of her craft. Laura is very involved in education, and has completed several courses with the Redken Exchange including the Redken Master Specialist Program. She was awarded the Designer’s Award from Martin Parsons, has attended the Paul Mitchell Hair Camp, and is certified in Keratin Complex and Cezanne Smoothing Treatments.
Kristen
As a native of the Hudson Valley, Kristen has over 16 years experience behind the chair. She joined Studio One in May of 1994, and specializes in wedding and formal hair styling. Kristen enjoys cutting hair, she is great at coloring, and when it comes to formal styling- she rocks! Every year, Kristen breaks her own record of Bridal services. She continues to better herself by attending higher education classes at the Redken 5th Avenue Academy for Hair Coloring, training classes by Paul Mitchell systems in hair cutting, and has been certified in Keratin Complex application. She also continues her salon education in application of Bare Minerals makeup.

Julie
With over 25 years experience behind the chair, Julie loves transforming her client’s look. Julie’s creativity thrives with color and highlights. Julie is also a master in cutting. Whether you are looking for a short spunky look, beautiful layers, or that perfect men’s fade, Julie has the education to create that exact look. Though her years in hairdressing, she has received Redken Awards for color and cutting, and has attended classes at Paul Mitchell. Julie is also certified in Cezanne Hair smoothing treatments along with ear piercing! This girl can do it all!
Jamie
Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, Jamie has always had a passion for doing hair. After years of experimenting on friends and family, Jamie decided to get serious and make a career for herself. She loves cutting and coloring hair best, but enjoys the other aspects of cosmetology as well. Whether it is cut, color, waxing, or nails, Jamie’s got you covered. She has attended Redken color and cut classes as well as classes on the Keratin Hair Treatments.
Gerry
Gerry has more than 30 years experience in the nail industry. She is also a licensed cosmetologist specializing in Bridal makeup where she can let her creativity explode. Along with nails and makeup, Gerry can provide you with all your waxing needs. She is currently furthering her education in eyelash extensions. Come in and see what Gerry has to offer you!
Hannah
Hannah is a New York City trained & licensed color specialist, providing the most up to date & detailed color techniques. With more than eight years of experience in hairdressing, she has also developed skilled cutting techniques, formal hair styling for weddings & special events, as well as makeup artistry. She is a well educated & confident stylist ready to take on challenges such as major color corrections & creative colors. Education as a colorist has not only given her a depth of knowledge on color but also the ability to take on the most demanding of blondes.

Larissa
The art of hairstyling shines in Larissa. Are you looking for a haircut, change in color, makeup application or an eyebrow wax? Well then Larissa is your girl! Since 2017 Meghan has been taking education classes that have been expanding her knowledge and passion for hair. Sarah has been making Studio One brides beautiful for over 10 years. She has the most experience working on our wedding makeup team. She loves what she does and is loved by all her past brides. Meet Katelyn. Originally from Cincinnati Ohio, Katelyn’s passion for hair started in 2018. Whether you are looking for a beach blonde look or a soft caramel highlight, she has the skills necessary to accomplish any look. Katelyn also specializes in hand tied hair extensions for all the ladies dreaming of long beautiful hair.
