Owner

Amanda is the proud owner of Studio One Hair Design. She purchased the salon in 2016 but has been a part of the Studio One team since 2005. Amanda prides herself with providing high-quality salon experiences to every client. With a diverse and loyal customer base, she values her involvement in day-to-day operations. Her passion for hairdressing stems from her family’s history in the industry as she comes from a long line of hairdressers.Growing up in an artistic atmosphere, she loves the creativity that she can bring to her clients. Her specialties include bridal hair, formal styling, haircuts, color, nails and waxing. Amanda is certified in the Keratin Complex and her haircutting specialty is the Graduated Bob. She also loves to get creative and has mastered vibrant fashion hair colors. Laura

Stylist

Laura is a top-notch hairdresser with over 30 years of experience in the industry and was Studio One’s previous owner. She loves to get creative and transform her client’s looks with color, and loves the ever-changing nature of her craft. Laura is very involved in education, and has completed several courses with the Redken Exchange including the Redken Master Specialist Program. She was awarded the Designer’s Award from Martin Parsons, has attended the Paul Mitchell Hair Camp and is certified in Keratin Complex and Cezanne Smoothing Treatments.

Julie

Stylist

With over 30 years of experience behind the chair, Julie is one of our most adored stylists. A rather permanent fixture at the salon, Julie is busy from the time she comes in, until the time she leaves. She loves transforming her client’s look with color and highlights. Julie is a master when it comes to layers and long hair. She can also slay a bob style cut with master precision. Throughout her years in hairdressing, she has received Redken Awards for color and cutting, and attended classes at Paul Mitchell. Julie is a native of the Hudson Valley and her children have grown up here too.

Jamie

Stylist

Jamie is a seasoned hair stylist with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Her passion for hair started at a young age and eventually led her to pursue a career in cosmetology. Since joining Studio One in 2005, Jamie has honed her skills in color/cuts, while also expanding her knowledge in other areas such as waxing and nails. She loves a good balayage and highlighting service to beautify her clients. She has attended various training classes including Redken color and cut classes, and courses on Keratin Hair Treatments. With Jamie, you can trust that you’re in good hands for all your hair care needs.

Gerry

Stylist/Makeup Artist

Gerry has over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry and has been a valued member of the Studio One Hair Design team for over 15 years. She began her career as a nail technician and has established a loyal following for her exceptional manicure skills. Seeking to broaden her skill set, Gerry returned to school for cosmetology and has since been providing top-notch services as a stylist for over a decade. Her specialty lies in crafting breathtaking color and cuts, though she is also well-versed in a range of other services, including waxing.

Larissa

Stylist/Makeup Artist

Larissa began her career with Studio One in 2017. She is a skilled hair stylist specializing in balayage and perfecting the perfect blonde color. With over 10 years of experience, she takes pride in showcasing her creativity and ensuring her clients leave with a smile on their face. She is the jack of all trades in our salon as she is also one of our team leads for wedding hair & makeup! Meghan

Stylist

Meghan is a master at her craft! She began with us in 2017 right before she graduated high school and has been with us ever since. Watching her grow and expand her experience has been not only amazing but also transformative. Meghan is a balayage expert and loves to do highlighting too. Sarah

Makeup Artist

Sarah has been with Studio One for over 20 years. She is our lead makeup artist for weddings, specializing in both traditional & airbrush techniques. Sarah has the most experience working on our wedding makeup team and loves what she does. She is ready to make you look and feel absolutely beautiful on one of your most special days!

Kate

Stylist/Makeup Artist

As a Bridal specialist at Studio One Hair Design, Kate takes pride in perfecting both hair and makeup for our brides and their party. Since joining the team in 2015, she has developed a passion for weddings and has solely focused her career in that direction. With Kate’s expertise, she is confident in making your special day even more memorable!

Jamie

Makeup Artist

With over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, Jaime is a highly skilled makeup artist specializing in traditional, airbrush, and commercial makeup. Her passion for enhancing natural beauty has taken her from the East Coast to the West Coast, working with a diverse range of clients and styles. Known for her attention to detail and versatility, she has earned a reputation for delivering flawless, camera-ready looks for everything from weddings and special events to editorial and commercial shoots. Whether it’s a soft bridal glow or a bold, creative concept, Jaime brings professionalism, artistry, and passion to every brushstroke.

Riley

Stylist

Riley is our newest skilled beauty professional, joining Studio One in 2022 as an assistant and working her way up to being behind the chair in 2023. Her expertise is in color/cuts, mani/pedis and lash lift and tints. Riley also has a broad range of haircutting skills and can provide a variety of styles to suit any client’s needs. Born and raised in Hudson Valley Cara brings over 8 years of experience and artistry to the bridal beauty industry. As a seasoned makeup specialist with our salon, she has mastered both traditional and airbrush techniques, tailoring each look to enhance her clients’ natural beauty while aligning with their unique vision. Known for her calming presence and keen eye for detail, Cara has helped hundreds of brides feel confident, radiant, and camera-ready on their most important day. Lindsey is a seasoned hairstylist with over two decades of experience in the industry. Her passion lies in creating stylish and trendy short cuts, as well as men’s cuts and color/cuts. She joined Studio One in November 2023 and has since been an integral part of the team. Lindsey has a keen eye for fashion colors and loves to help her clients achieve a glamorous look!
